About Me
Cornetta Walker Williams
As a therapist, we understand that when we are stressed or anxious, we can feel alone, stuck, or helpless and it is at these times were therapy can help move us forward with our lives.
I am a BACP-registered fully qualified psychotherapist and supervisor with over ten years of experience, registered with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy, Addiction Professionals, British Infertility Counselling Association, and the Association for The Treatment of Sexual Addiction and Compulsivity.
As a therapist, I offer a safe space to explore personal vulnerabilities and reflect on the root cause of the problems. I cover a wide range of mental health concerns and educational issues.
Qualifications
My psychotherapy training is at master's level, I have MSc in addiction psychology and counselling. In addition, a master’s certificate in working with children and young people. I have continued my education with a postgraduate diploma in personal advising and a post-graduate certificate in systemic practice.
I have completed additional training in working with couples and trauma. My practice is informed by current theories and practices, and I am equipped to work with a range of mental health conditions.
